Should Be

One of the battles in the Christian mind or any mind really is trying to find the right thing to do or say. It’s all too easy to say the first thing that comes to mind when you’re on the defense and someone accuses you. It’s easy to blame others first without looking at the fault you also bring. It’s easy to just keep walking when someone around you is clearly in need. It’s easy to not share your faith with an unbeliever.

God never promised an easy life though, in fact He says it will be harder. But the challenge to serve God should be the desire of our hearts. And with this desire and passion through prayer can help clear up the cloudy mess in our minds to find the right thing to do or say.

God provided His word to help guide us through our trials and through our hurt. He also gives us guidance with how we should live our daily lives. Not through judgement, but through our desire to glorify Him. I challenge you to pray for an opportunity to spread God’s love to someone through your words or actions today.

“The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self controlled so that you can pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.” -1 Peter 4:7-10
