God probably thinks we’re funny whenever we hit the ‘undo’ button. Like clicking it will make it not just disappear but erase that it happened to begin with.
There’s probably things in your life you wish you could go back and undo. Maybe relationships you wish you erase. Maybe memories you wish you could edit. Maybe it’s a mistake that lives on replay in your mind you just want to take back.
Well, although life doesn’t have an undo button, we can still move forward. Rather than dwelling on things we can’t go back and change, we can accept that it happened and move forward.
It was a mistake, but God let you learn from it. He broke your heart, but God will heal you. She didn’t treat you the way you wanted, but God will take care of you. You feel cheated, but God is faithful.
God’s love is more than enough. He’ll keep pushing you forward. Life is a journey, but God’s faithful the whole time.
“Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God had called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” -Philippians 3:12-14
“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us- whatever we ask -we know that we have what we asked of him.” -1 John 5:14-15
