How can I love someone when I’m hurting? How can I forgive someone who betrayed me? How can I be there for someone when I’m already broken? How can God use me when I’m such a mess?

These are just a few of the questions that plague my mind some days. And I wonder what good could possibly come out of the darkness in life. But the more time I spend pondering this, the more I can see God working through the brokenness. 

Nothing about you has surprised God. He knows the number of hairs on your head, and He knows what’s on your mind as you read this. Believing He can’t do something with your life because it seems messy is like sticking Him on a shelf. 

God can do amazing things no matter the circumstances. If you let Him work through you, you’ll see things that only God could’ve done. The same God who performed miracles on earth, who flooded the world, who parted the seas, who made the sun stand still, is living and working through you. 

Don’t let human doubt cloud the power of God. When you believe His miracles can happen today, you’ll see the limitless possibilities. 

“I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given not only in the present age but also in the one to come.” -Ephesians 1:18-21
