Whether we are desperately searching for peace, or in such pain we don’t know what the next step will be or if we will ever find relief from the heartache. The darkness can be so loud we feel like we’re being choked in a cave and no one can save us. Sometimes we go through trials and we feel like no one could possibly understand. In these times, it’s important to remember that God will never let you go alone.

Some of you may be going through a loss; some of you might be hearing whispers of lies behind your back; maybe some of you are just waiting to hear the news and faith is dwindling. Right now, I’m fighting the voices in my head telling me this post isn’t good enough to share.

There is never a moment we are alone though. And God isn’t just willing to hear from you, He wants to listen. He isn’t bothered when you message Him first. So whether it’s a simple prayer or plea or whether it is a screaming call of distress, go to Him. He has never left your side, and He never will. No matter what time of the day, He’s listening and ready to give you that peace.

“I call on the Lord in my distress, and he answers me. Save me, O Lord, from lying lips and from deceitful tongues.” -Psalm 120:1-2

“I lift up my eyes to the hills- where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip- he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber not sleep.” -Psalm 121:1-4

“So we say with confidence, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?” -Hebrews 13:6
