Sometimes it’s a challenge to get out of bed in the morning. Whether it’s a day at work you don’t want to have or a conversation you don’t want to engage in, it’s something you don’t want to face. Maybe it’s not even a bad thing you’re avoiding, but you’ve become complacent about your life and routine that you’ve become numb.
Something I was reminded of this morning refueled me, gave me hope and energy to take on the day, even when the weather looks bad. I challenge you today to turn to Jesus and pray about it. Ask Him to renew your strength and to remind you what your life is worth. Remember the way He suffered so we could make a difference on earth for His glory. And ask Him to remind you of the purpose God has for your life.
“The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self controlled so that you can pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.” -1 Peter 4:7-11
