How many times have you continued a conversation with “I know”. Immediately some of us just continue talking and ignore that or we don’t take the time to understand that phrase.
When someone says they know, that doesn’t mean they understand, but sometimes it means they do know what going on, at least from their perspective.
When God says He knows, that means He doesn’t just know we’re in pain right now or we’re hurting or grieving or struggling, He knows how we’re going to survive it, and He knows how He’s going to carry us through it.
God knows the tears your cried last night. God knows the fears you hold onto in this moment. God knows the stress you’re juggling this week. But God doesn’t just know that, He knows how you’ll be delivered through it all.
“For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” -Jeremiah 29:11-13
