Most people have food cravings at one point of another. But. Do you ever crave to hear words? Crave to feel something? Crave to know someone? It’s an interesting word but we hear it all the time.
Maybe you crave to hear someone tell you something you’ve never heard. Maybe you crave a position you’ve always wanted. Maybe you crave a feeling of comfort or security that you’ve never felt. Maybe we all want something that’s just out of reach.
It’s an earnest desire to fill that need in your life. It might be different for everyone, but the yearn of that craving is the same. My challenge for you is to ask God to step into that. Acknowledge what you want and present it to Him. Ask Him to fulfill you.
“The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food at the proper time. You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing.” -Psalm 145:15-16
“Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” -Luke 11:11-13
